The Wiggle Room is temporarily closed down, until it passes inspection from
the Fire Marshall. So we moved this performance to Gotham, a downtown bar located
on the corner of Third St. and Alamo. Buttercup, a determined group, disassembled
the largest table you've ever seen, moved video games, and in general redirected
the space to accommodate a band. Then the festivities: a truly fun set with
artist Ken Little. His songs have both humor
and nostalgia all rolled up in an off-kilter country wrapping. Then it is as
if we cursed the joint: the AC froze up, the drink pouring machine died, the
computers freaked out, and the beer representative never showed to restock.
But in spite of these potential night-killers, everyone seemed to have a great
time. Thank you to Mike and Tyler of the Gotham for helping us out! Thanks to
all of you who came out!
