3.15.2004 "The Art of the Letter"

Bring your address book. We're going to write some letters together. Buttercup will provide the stationary and stamps and pens and typewriters. When all is said and done, we will gather up all the correspondence and drive over to the airport to get it postmarked Monday, 3.15.2004.

Email is killing letter writing, which is an art and has a power in its inconvenience, its deliberateness, and its echoes of touch. This will be a way we can share Grackle Mundy with those loved ones far away.
