12.19.2005 Celebration of Annual Gift Man
This was a great end to a horrible year. The Exploding Sex Kittens were incredibly fun, warming up the room with their great, plaintive songs. Their song "Henry B." will not be forgotten. Buttercup had to play ridiculously softly because of warnings from the police, but we ended throwing care to the wind and playing as loudly as we had all year, tearing through Neil Young's "Hurricane". Saleta Gomez made wonderful, potent eggnog for the second year straight. Anjali held the cops at bay and, as always, held things down for Buttercup. Thank you all for coming and for supporting us throughout this long, hard year.
