12.3.2005 Buttercup @ the Wiggle Room, San Antonio, TX

This was our second night playing with our two of our favorite bands: F4fake and Los Mescaleros. This was one of our favorite shows ever at the Wiggle Room. We began with nearly catastophic technical difficulties, but somehow the evening was charmed and we assumed some sort of collective victory dance: the whole room bouncing and dancing to Los Mescaleros. The lowlight for Buttercup's performance was the highlight: an a cappella version of Egypt. F4fake rocked at a whole new level, veering from a beyond sluggish, almost drunken Nascar to a teeth rattling Drifter's Arrest.
