to you, our friends...
we thank you all for sticking by us during the worst hurricane season on record, as far as we're all concerned. a tide of senseless violence swept away two of our good friends and wrecked forever the haven that we'd had for our music, our families and friends for all these years. but tonight, in the back of medusa's, we reclaimed a little bit of ourselves. and we could not have done that without all of you there. and so, for whatever this tiny blog is worth, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for not giving up. on life, on music, on our town, and each other. everyday is gift and we hope to spend it playing and writing the best music we can. it's all we can do. and we do it not only for ourselves but for you. for each other.

P.S. Did you listen to the Summer Wardrobe? What a truly great band with such beautiful, dramatic music. They were the right medicine: surging and plaintive, thoughtful and melodic. The Summer Wardrobe is wonderful.
