6.3.2005 "Buttercup: Audience of One @ Three Walls"

Dear You,

This night we performed at Michele Monseau's Three Walls Art Gallery, in San Antonio, Texas. We met with audience members individually or in small groups, and played songs geared to fit their mood and situation. We had some interesting conversations and some powerful moments. The whole operation took much teamwork and we would have been rudderless without our good friends. Karen took names and managed the crowd; Nate mixed Tinto de Verano (red wine and Fanta); Michele took fotos and took down names; Buttercup sang. We placed our instruments in the back workspace thinking that this would make for a more intimate environment, less sterile than the clean white gallery. We wanted to be back where the good things happen, and they did. Look for yourself, look for your song!
