3.21.2005 "Buttercup: Dressed to Jive"
Hello,
This night we were dressed by Agosto Cuellar of Jive. He outfitted Buttercup in vintage fashions from his great shop in Southtown. Joe was sporty in a red shirt and blue jacket, fully accessorized. Jamie had the true Hunt Sales semi-gangster look. Odie was the most extreme in his shirtless dickie and shorty shorts. And Erik Sanden was first 'Little Rascal' and then 'Sparkly Grandmother'.
We had a good time and the show took place in an undisclosed location; Buttercup drew on its rock repertoire for a long set of up tempo numbers. Highlights were "Hello, Goodbye" and "Cool Kids". Next Grackle expect a shifting of gears as we get back to our Grackle roots: intimate, quiet, smoke-free.
Love,
Buttercup
